Client meetings are a significant part of my morning activity. To stay organized, I use tools like Google Calendar to schedule and track all my appointments. Each meeting is followed by a quick summary email to the client, outlining the discussed points and next steps. This not only keeps the project on track but also ensures clear communication and accountability.

To manage my tasks effectively, I rely on my personal past experience. It’s all about doing real productive and concrete tasks here ! Breaking down projects into smaller, manageable tasks helps me stay focused and avoid feeling overwhelmed. I also use the Pomodoro Technique to maintain concentration, working in 30 minutes intervals followed by short breaks until 12.
⏰ 👩💻 Staying Ahead with Time Blocking
One of the most effective strategies I’ve adopted when coding is time blocking. By dedicating specific blocks of time to different coding tasks, I can ensure that I make consistent progress on all fronts. This method also helps me avoid multitasking, which can reduce efficiency and increase stress. My goal here is to code, code and code until 4-5 pm.
Lessons Learned and Personal Growth
Reflecting on my journey, I realize that my growth as a freelancer is closely tied to my ability to adapt and improve my processes. Early on, I underestimated the workload for a project, leading to long, unpaid hours. This experience taught me the importance of thorough project scoping and realistic time estimates.
